This Ford 6.0 l engine came in with 3 fuel injector codes a glow plug code and oil leaks from the intake valley area. What we found was leaks from the oil cooler housing base gasket, injector control pressure sensor and high pressure oil pump base gasket. This customer had work performed before and unfortunately the gaskets that were used were not factory gaskets. It has been our experience that non factory gaskets are prone to early failure and leakage. In addition the filter screen for the high pressure oil pump was highly contaminated fortunately we were able replace this screen concurrently with the replacement of the oil cooler base gasket.
