The “Last Citadel” in the song isn’t just a fortress; it’s the last loyal heart, the last man standing against corruption, hypocrisy, and the slow death of identity from within.
It is Qadisha Valley and its Warrior Maronite Monks still looking over us and asking us to return to that valley.
