This video is to share the honest review of home furnishings option at Ikea Navi Mumbai store. This is going to be a series video of different section of IKEA such as furnishings, lights, home decor etc. You can also buy these from Online Ikea store or from Amazon.

Ikea has recently opened its new store in Mumbai. This is the 2nd Ikea store in India, the other one located in Hyderabad. The Mumbai Ikea store is located in Turbhe which is suburban area of Navi Mumbai. Current visit to Ikea Mumbai is by prior online appointment only. You need to have an appointment number with pre-define timeslots to enter the store. The appointment number has a QR code which you get as a link in SMS on your phone after booking appointment online.

It is quite easy to reach Ikea Mumbai. You can drive from Mumbai via Airoli to Turbhe. From central part of Mumbai it takes around 45 minutes. For Thane and Navi Mumbai residents it is 15-20 mins drive. Pune residents can also drive down from Pune and reach Ikea Mumbai in 1.5 hours via Mumbai Pune expressway.

The store is massive and it takes around 3 hours to visit all the sections inside. There are arrow marks which guide you through the store layout. There are very strict safety measures by Ikea in place. So you can rest assured that your shopping experience is safe and comfortable. Billing is also fairly quick and takes between 10-15 mins. For lighter items you can carry it yourself. For bigger items, Ikea takes delivery charges based on weight of the product. There is also an assembly charge for bigger products.
Ikea has a tie up with Urban company for assembly/installation of Ikea products.

There is a nice cafeteria just outside the entry/exit where you can have quick refreshment at very affordable price. There is a very nice restaurant as well for meals and if you have sufficient time, you must visit it.

One important thing to note is that Ikea online store and Ikea in store price are same. So you can try visiting Ikea online store if that is more convenient.
