12219 LTT - Secunderabad Duronto Full Journey | Mumbai to Hyderabad Fastest Train

Hello everyone, I know it's been too long since I last posted any video on my channel. Lot's of things changed in the last couple of months for the good & the bad which affected me on a personal level. On top of that my work commitments and the festive seasons meant that my YouTube activities unfortunately took a back seat. I am trying my best to restart my channel but until then please bear with me!

Coming back to the video, this is my journey in the 12219 LTT - Secunderabad Duronto which connects Mumbai & Hyderabad. Do note that I did this journey in May 2025 so all the things in this are true for that time. This train was the first of three trains I planned to cover over that weekend. To begin with I was to reach Hyderabad by this Duronto, then go to Nagpur by the Vande Bharat and finally return back home by another train (it didn't happen). Coming back to the train, I travelled in AC 3 Tier but unfortunately got a middle berth. I did opt for food but only breakfast was included which was not good. But the train was neat and clean throughout the journey no complaints there.

The highlight of this journey was definitely the parallel encounters with Siddheshwar SF Express. As a railfan this was very enjoyable and provided some action in what was otherwise a dull journey with not many crossings or overtakes. On paper this is the fastest train between the two cities but honestly it doesn't feel so. Despite having only three official halts the train has been given so much slack that it can easily be speeded up by 2 hours. One can really opt for the other trains like Hussain Sagar or Devagiri Express over this one and save money but then again ticket availability is not easy. This Duronto train is only good for last minute ticket availability. It was a very average travel experience for me.
