ঈদুল আজহা ঘনিয়ে এলেই জমজমাট হয়ে উঠে গরু বেচাকেনার হাট। তবে গেলো বছর পাঁচেক ধরে প্রথাগত হাটের পাশাপাশি জনপ্রিয় হয়ে উঠেছে গবাদিপশুর খামারে গরু-ছাগল বিক্রি। চট্টগ্রামের কালুরঘাটে তেমনই এক গবাদিপশুর খামার সারা এগ্রো। তবে এর আলাদা বৈশিষ্টও আছে। বিশাল আকারের বিদেশি জাতের গরু লালন-পালন করে এরা। প্রতি বছর কোরবানির ঈদের সময় জাকজমকের সাথে সাজানো হয় খামার। বন্দর নগরীর ধনী-সম্পদশালীরাই এই খামারের গবাদিপশুর মূল ক্রেতা।

One such cattle farm in Kalurghat, Chittagong, is Sara Agro. However, it also has its own unique features. They raise large foreign-breed cows. Every year, during Eid-ul-Azha, the farm is decorated with pomp and show. The rich and wealthy of the port city are the main buyers of the cattle of this farm.
