This Honda Jazz/Fit came in with a common CVT problem: transmission shudder (vibration) when pulling away from a stop.
We performed a complete fluid exchange using a specialized machine, replacing 99.9% of the CVT fluid – including the fluid trapped in the torque converter, solenoids, and mechatronic unit. The process was done with the car running, shifting through gears to ensure every part of the system was properly flushed.
Afterwards, we carried out a start clutch calibration and took the car for a test drive. The improvement is clear in the video – the judder is gone, and the car drives smoothly again. This shows that it’s never too late to try a proper fluid exchange before considering expensive transmission repairs.
