Hi everyone! This is new to me because I’m not used to make long edits or AU, but I really wanted to make this one. I know the voiceovers aren’t perfect but I did my best. The plot may contain mistakes because English is not my first language. I hope you’ll enjoy it.

Plot

After they have been dating for a while, Eddie breaks up with Buck. Buck is devastated and doesn’t understand, but they want to avoid abrupt change for Christopher’s sake, so they remain on good terms and keep family traditions like dinners.

Eddie is struggling too much and keeps reliving the memories he shared with Buck in that same house, so he pushes him even more away, telling him he should move on.
Chris gets mad at Eddie because of the break up and the way he’s treating Buck and runs away to his house where Buck reassures him he doesn’t go anywhere.

Buck knows something is wrong and Eddie is hiding the true reason behind his decision so confronts him, but Eddie is completely closed off and doesn’t want to talk to him. Buck starts to get annoyed by his attitude and tells the team he’s ready to think about the future. Eddie sees him kissing Lucy in a bar a few days later. Chris notices how much Eddie is suffering and apologizes to him.

Buck, in the meantime, decides it’s best to came clean with him about the kiss even if they weren’t together. He explains he only did that because he was mad at him for moving on. Eddie can’t stand Buck blaming himself so he says to him it wasn’t his fault, leaving Buck more confused than ever.

Bobby eavesdrops the conversation and decides to talk to Eddie. Eddie explains the real reasons behind the break up: he thought he was letting Buck down because he believed he was unhappy with him. Bobby suggests him to talk to Buck about it and encourages him to stop being afraid and to try again.

Eddie calls Buck and finally explains to him he broke up with him because he was afraid he wasn’t enough for him. Buck, later, talks to Bobby because he is afraid of keep making mistakes since he and Eddie clearly had a communication problem. Bobby tells him that real relationships take effort and that he’ll be ready for that.

A couple of weeks later Eddie tells Buck how much he and Chris missed him and that he loves him more than anything, so they decide to give it another shot and get back together. Things are finally getting back to the way they should be.
