After the Storm - January 2025 winter storm after thoughts

February is here. We had a little break in the weather with two warm, sunny days. Then - the rains. Between 60+ inches of snow, melting, then rains melting further, we are saturated. DEFINITELY longing for spring and garden time!

As another storm is looming literally on our horizon, I needed to wrap up my final thoughts from January's storm so I can cut some wood to fireplace size tomorrow. We ended up house-bound for approx. 5 weeks in the last storm. Thank Abba for our beautiful, kind neighbors for making grocery runs for us for fresh items during that time. They have AWD and 4WD vehicles which were getting through, while our little crossover was NOT going to make it!

So what were we missing and what were we grateful for in January? I made lists! I share some of our thoughts in this video....
