The TV and papers will make this story all about United and in a way you can understand why, especially after firing him the morning after the match - they're trying to sell papers or advertising after all. However this match was really about a performance from a Watford side that was so good that some have spoken of echoes of the 1980's. Whatever the case this was the stand out performance of the season, topping even the Everton away performance because of the expensively assembled group of individuals we came up against.
The aggression and the flexibility of the squad seems to be being utilised by Ranieri to great effect whether we smothered their back line and won the ball up high or hit them on the break we were simply breath-taking.
Imagine the score if we had someone who could take penalties!
