This Premier isn't working hard enough for workers

During the debate on the 'Working for Workers 7 Act', it was important for me to share the concerns of workers across our community and the province. We are overwhelmed by uncertainty, and we need leadership that will protect jobs and fight to keep them in our communities. Autoworkers in Ingersoll are reeling after the news that GM is leaving. 1200 jobs and families are devastated. Workers in Oshawa need to know that we will have strings attached to investment and that the Premier will fight this time - not just talk.
Workers need to be listened to. They need affordable child care. They need to see real leadership - and believe that there is a real plan.
This 'Working for Workers 7' bill tinkers around the edges of the edges. It's not bad - it just does do darned little in a time when we should be pulling out all the stops.
