I’ve always loved Korean food but this is my first time actually making kimchi from scratch!! Hope i did it justice 🥹

This is the ingredients i used:
Salting the cabbage
1 wombok (~1.7-2kg, cut lengthwise into 2 or 4 pieces, keeping the core attached)
½ cup coarse sea salt (천일염 / cheonilyeom)
Glutinous Rice Porridge (풀, pul)
2 tbsp glutinous rice flour (찹쌀가루 / chapssalgaru)
1 cup water
Kimchi Seasoning Paste (양념, yangnyeom)
4 tbsp Korean red chili flakes (gochugaru, 고춧가루)(adjust based on own preference)
1½ tbsp salted shrimp (saeujeot, 새우젓), finely chopped
1 tbsp fish sauce
minced garlic (about 6–7 cloves, fresh preferred)
1 tsp minced ginger
¼ Korean pear, blended
~200g julienned Korean radish (or more if you want)
3 green onion, cut into segments
2 tbsp grated onion (adds mild sweetness)
All the cooled glutinous rice porridge
