This year they have two vehicle builds being presented. One of the vehicles they brought is a ’63 Vette and the second is a complete custom build of a 1956 Volvo TP-21.
The Volvo truck has a Cummins CP6 12-valve turbo-diesel engine. A customer came to them asking for a custom build for this vehicle of which only about 120 were built. The vehicle was originally built for the military.
The truck now has over 500 hp. The chassis has been customized as well. Digital gauges and a custom dash were added to the interior and Kicker subs installed. The entire custom build took almost 2 years to complete. One of the sponsors for the build is BASF.
This truck is one of a kind and one of the best builds that we have ever seen. These guys have an excellent chance to win the truck competition this year.
