Meet Gift Chinda, a determined Community Health Advocate (CHA) living in the heart of an urban informal settlement in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. In places where basic health rights are often violated and justice often seems impossible to obtain, CHAs trained by Justice & Empowerment Initiatives (JEI) have become a powerful force for health justice. This short film tells Gift's story, including the daily challenges her community and others like it face, and the bold steps she and other CHAs are taking to build accountability and health access from the bottom up. Their courageous efforts to challenge systems of neglect and empower fellow community members to speak up, stand strong, and reclaim their right to live healthy lives demonstrate that change is possible. It's time to listen. It's time to act. Health is a right!
