💢 Hector’s research explores how virtual reality and psychedelics might work together to reduce chronic pain by changing the way we perceive our bodies. His talk presents a new approach that combines VR-based body illusions with 5-MeO-DMT, a fast-acting psychedelic known to promote brain plasticity. This combination could help “reset” distorted pain perceptions and open up new ways of understanding the connection between the body, the brain, and consciousness.
