【ウルトラマンヴォルト】ULTRAMAN VOLT Episode 1 "Stranger of Light" (1983)

Ultraman Volt comes from a distant planet, M79, destroyed by the cosmic monster God King. The nature of the event is as fragmented as what little remains of his series. Ultraman Volt is a partially lost 1983 tokusatsu starring Toshio Shiba as Reiji Hoshikawa, Ultraman Volt's human form. Ultraman Volt is the last survivor of his fallen world and has come to Earth seeking a new home.
On Earth, the Neo Science Patrol has taken up battling the ever-persistent kaiju problem, and NSP members Takasato (comms officer), Murakado (strongman/glutton) and Arakida (captain) are engaged in battle against the kaiju Daron and Ganza. Here, Ultraman Volt makes his first appearance, the first Ultraman on Earth since Ultraman 80.
However, it seems that Ultraman Volt is not the only alien who has lost his home in the wake of the cosmic destruction of God King... Something has stirred the cosmos, and space monsters flee towards the Earth, endangering it.

ウルトラマンヴォルトは、宇宙怪獣ゴッドキングによって滅ぼされた遥か彼方の惑星・M79出身のウルトラ戦士である。その出来事の詳細は謎に包まれており、彼のシリーズの断片的な映像と同様、断片しか残されていない。

『ウルトラマンヴォルト』は、1983年に放送された特撮作品で、星川レイジ／ウルトラマンヴォルト役を演じたのは柴俊夫である。本作は一部が失われた“幻のウルトラマンシリーズ”として知られている。

ウルトラマンヴォルトは滅びた故郷の最後の生き残りとして、新たな安住の地を求めて地球へとやって来た。

地球では、ネオ科学警備隊（NSP）が依然として続く怪獣問題に立ち向かっており、通信士のタカサト、怪力で大食いのムラカド、そして隊長のアラキダたちが、怪獣ダロンとガンザとの激闘を繰り広げている。そこへ、ウルトラマンヴォルトが初登場。『ウルトラマン80』以来、初めて地球に現れたウルトラ戦士である。

しかし、ゴッドキングによる宇宙破壊の余波で故郷を失ったのはヴォルトだけではなかった。宇宙の何かが目覚め、数多くの宇宙怪獣が地球へと逃れ始めた。今、地球は新たな危機に直面している。
