🌍✨ Volunteer Experience in Iceland 🇮🇸

Join me on an unforgettable journey as I share my volunteer experience in Reykjavik, Iceland! During my time there, I was part of a passionate group of 15 fellow volunteers dedicated to sustainable projects that make a difference. From environmental conservation to community engagement, our work aimed to protect the breathtaking beauty of Iceland.

My story: ✈️

Since my childhood I always dreamed of visiting Iceland one day. I was mesmerized by its nature and unbelievable sightseeing. For me to come there seemed to be in the end of world. 4 years ago I started my volunteer journey and I came across an online project that was focused on Ecology and was originally from Iceland. I complete my experience and after a while decided to apply to the same organization but to do it offline in order to finally see Iceland.

2 years ago I got accepted to go there and had the most magical and unforgettable month in my life. Iceland was my 30th country that I visited but 1st that stole my heart. I got acquainted with people from all over the world from Italy and Germany to china and Japan. The time that I spend there felt like I came back home however I have never been there before. I was there for the whole December and I spend Christmas with other volunteers there.

During my stay we organized some workshops about sustainability, cooked food for people in need, went by car to some famous nature sightseeings and ate Icelandic ice-cream and went to a hot pool while it was -15 outside.

I decided to share this video that was edited by my friend from the project because I want to show to more people that this opportunity excises and can open a lot of new doors to you.
