The Starks | Direwolves [+8x04]

They were meant to have them...

I'm. So. Sad. About how they just casually wrote Ghost out. The direwolves are SO important! I mean, seriously, Robb's last words were Grey Wind, and Jon's was Ghost. In addition to the wolves being companions to them, I see the Direwolves tied to the Stark children's fates. Lady was killed, Sansa realizes her dreams of a heroic Prince and happy marriage die with her. Arya is forced to run from King's Landing/escape into the wild to survive on her own... much like Nymeria. Ghost is the outcast, just like Jon, etc etc.

Anways I'm sad :)
