PT BR - Ele foi considerado o melhor árbitro de futebol do Campeonato Gaúcho cinco vezes nos seus 15 anos de atuação. Em 2014, com 37 anos, encerrou precocemente sua carreira por ter denunciado o 3º caso de racismo dentro do futebol. Atualmente, Márcio trabalha como comentarista de arbitragem no Grupo RBS.
No TEDxUnisinos 2019, ele mostrou a presença do racismo estrutural no futebol.
EN - He was considered the best soccer referee of the Campeonato Gaúcho five times in his 15 years of performance. In 2014, at the age of 37, he ended his career early because he reported the third case of racism within soccer. Marcio currently works as an arbitration commentator for the RBS Group.
