I’ve traveled with Intrepid multiple times and the group trip format makes it so I can have solo time when I need to and also build friendships among the group. These trips really are great for solo travel that at the same time is not solo. From this Antarctica adventure I already made friends I’ll be visiting in a few weeks in the DC area!

PRO TIPS

Be sure to arrive at LEAST 24 hours before your cruise departs, though I’d say two days is safer so that you can ensure you don’t miss your departure.

Bring a Kindle or download audiobooks or your fave streaming episodes as wifi is limited and expensive to purchase while on the boat. You can also bring cards or games to pass the time.
