I wanted to make you something totally different for this Halloween - so I invite you to my cottage deep in the woods of wild West Wales. Watch over my shoulder as I do some spells for you, and make you a very special potion.

The accoutrements are all from our house, and I included some very special things from both my late Grandmothers. One was a farmer's wife who lived on top of a mountain in the middle of some of the most beautiful countryside - making her own chutneys and jams, and appreciating the seasons. The other was one of 12 living on a farm in the middle of nowhere in West Wales, in a house with its own stream where she'd catch fish with her brothers and sisters. A real green soul.
