In one of West Bengal’s driest regions, farmers in Purulia are changing how they grow, earn, and live. Over 300 farmers are part of the Joychandi FPC, in Purulia, West Bengal. They now grow more than one crop a year using solar-powered pumps, reduce costs by producing their own seeds, and make millet-based products. With training, support, and better access to markets from SwitchON Foundation and partners, they’re earning more and building a better future.
