Difficulties in Reality Acceptance | Natantse - Electronic Music

This month I publish two tracks due to the Christmas. This is the newest one.

Jesus says that he is a way and the truth and the life (John 14:6). I want to focus on that truth now. Beside being a person as it is shown here, the truth is also a reality description.

There is no better way to get you sober than facing the reality. The best way to force you to face it is a failure. Misfortunes, the plans and relationships broken, all these things force to accept the current state of a life which is a genuine humility.

I discovered that accepting the truth is tough. I don't even mean the truth of myself but the truth of other people. Last time was a good sobriety lesson from God. It concerned me as well. The fact is that I would prefer to see people much better and much nicer as it is in my imagination than the reality shows them.

Due to deciding to follow Jesus I chose the reality and sobriety, however. As I know him this getting sober hasn't stopped yet. It is still there and I want it to be continued.

This track reflects all these difficulties and struggles. Therefore I titled it accordingly.

History:

The track's title refers difficulties in life but in fact, it can also refer some difficulties during composing and recording it. Especially, good playing practice took two months in order to make it sound good and concise.

This music is dynamic, sequential and it is similar to things I want to compose. I prefer this kind of productions than ambient ones. However, I won't avoid ambient at all. It depends on what the music should express.

Going back to difficulties. I discovered an interesting thing. Composing and mixing of such a short and concise track is more challenging than doing an ambient consisting of long and slow fragments. This production required all parts to fit the sequence and the melody. I had to practice, test and even change something to make it all fits.

Additionally, I had a technical problems with sound recording. I found that my Zoom recorder unit has issues when recording a long time. I had to restart an audio server in order to make everything recorded equally at rhythm. That was really annoying. Now, it is my habit to restart JACK audio server before each recording session to avoid randomly generated latencies. I hadn't such a problems with previously borrowed Behringer audio interface.

Finally, I solved these issues. To do it, sometimes I had to repeatedly record the same parts but everyone is facing it I think.
