Sub zero temps rolled thru and i had some struggles with the central boiler keeping up. Fire bridged over multiple times, and struggled to ever recover temperature. I talk about issues with EPA phase 1 and phase 2 outdoor wood boilers, that you wouldn't have with older pre epa boilers. And i talk about some strategies to help when your boiler gets behind, or is running very hard to keep up. Bridging of the wood where it wedges between the walls is a problem and i provide a few solutions for that in this video.
