This video showcases the Alternate Finishers system, which is a new feature from the upcoming version 1.2 of my Inspired Patch for WWF SmackDown! 2: Know Your Role.

In Inspired Patch 1.2 every wrestler in the game will have not 1 but 2 finishers, and you will be able to choose which one you want to use.

When a wrestler's finishers are performed from different positions, both of them are performed by pressing L1. For example, The Rock has The People's Elbow and The Rock Bottom as finishers. Both are performed by pressing L1 but The People's Elbow is performed from the ground position and The Rock Bottom is performed from the standing groggy position.

On the other hand, when a wrestler's finishers are performed from the same position, the main finisher or finisher 1 is performed by pressing L1 and the alternate finisher or finisher 2 is performed by pressing L1 and either of the direction pad buttons. So L1-up, L1-down, L1-left or L1-right. For example, The Undertaker has Tombstone Piledriver and Chokeslam as his finishers. Both of them are performed from the standing groggy position but Tombstone is performed by pressing L1 and Chokeslam is performed by pressing L1 and either of the direction pad buttons.

In Inspired Patch 1.2 you will also be able to use Turnbuckle and Running grapples as finishers.

All these features are fully integrated into the CAW mode and you will be able to set Alternate Finishers for your created wrestlers, including Turnbuckle and Running grapples.
