Summary:
You were training to become a vampire hunter when they attacked. They came in droves and destroyed your village, feeding on the helpless as they ran for their lives. Vampires. You’ve resented those monsters for a long time. You dispatch a few and then go directly for the man who seems to be at the center of it all. The Count. But at the last second, you falter. Something stays your hand. You can’t kill this man. And that reluctance costs you. It’s how you wound up as a prisoner in his castle. But his kind treatment towards you is puzzling. You’re certain he only sees you as a plaything, but lately, you’ve been beginning to question yourself. Why does he spend so much of his time with you? What is it about the Count that draws you in?
