We move away from the slightly more northern videos of late, back south to the Swanage Railway where the festive cheer is very much affirmed and the Santa Specials are well under way!
We see two of the regular home fleet in action on the service and a channel first appearance of recently returned to traffic Bulleid Light Pacific 34072 '257 Squadron' and fellow SLL loco 80104. Also in service was U Class 31806 on 'The Dorsetman' luncheon dinner.
The sun was shinning almost constantly throughout the day, however the wind was strong an made conditions difficult sometimes, never the less the former LWSR branch line still showed its charm and character as the locos worked hard over the Purbeck Hills. Hope you enjoy!
