Rampardos is known for one thing: raw, absurd power… but also for being painfully slow.
So instead of forcing Trick Room, I did something different.

With Choice Scarf + Sheer Force, Rampardos becomes a surprise speed demon in OU that outruns and obliterates threats. What should be a glass-cannon liability suddenly turns into a revenge-killing monster, catching opponents completely off guard and punching holes for the rest of the Snow team to clean up.

🧠 Strategy – Rampardos’ Gameplan

Rampardos is one of the most physically powerful Pokémon ever created, but its low Speed normally keeps it locked behind Trick Room. This set breaks that limitation entirely.

With Choice Scarf, Rampardos outruns a large portion of the OU tier, letting it function as a devastating revenge killer and momentum-stealer. Sheer Force supercharges its coverage, turning Blizzard, Rock Slide, Earthquake, and Fire Punch into lethal tools opponents never expect from a Pokémon they assume is slow.

Because nobody plays around a fast Rampardos, you consistently catch key targets off guard—whether that’s deleting Landorus-T, Gliscor, Garchomp, or Great Tusk with Blizzard, or smashing offensive cores with Tera Rock-boosted Rock Slide. It doesn’t just hit hard… it hits first.

Rampardos’ job is simple: shock the opponent, secure crucial KOs, and create openings for the rest of the team to dominate.

🧩 Tactical Synergy – The Support Squad

🪨 Great Tusk provides the hazard backbone of the team. Stealth Rock pressures switches, Rapid Spin keeps hazards off the field, and Ice Spinner checks common Ground and Flying types. It ensures Rampardos and Cetitan aren’t worn down prematurely and benefits heavily from them removing threats like Zapdos and Moltres.

❄️ Slowking is the engine of the strategy. Chilly Reception safely sets Snow, enabling both Rampardos’ Blizzard tech and Cetitan’s Slush Rush sweeps. Regenerator keeps it healthy, Future Sight forces awkward defensive positions, and Thunder Wave slows threats so Rampardos can maintain speed control.

🛡️ Skarmory stabilizes the team defensively. Rocky Helmet punishes contact, Iron Defense + Body Press gives it win-condition potential, and Whirlwind denies opposing setup. It buys time for Rampardos and Cetitan to find their windows.

☠️ Alolan Muk is the special sponge. Knock Off cripples defensive cores, RestTalk provides longevity, and its Dark typing grants a crucial Psychic immunity. It absorbs special pressure so Rampardos never has to risk bad switches.

⚔️ Cetitan is the primary win condition. Under Snow, Slush Rush doubles its Speed, and Belly Drum turns it into an endgame monster. Rampardos breaks early; Cetitan cleans late.

Together, the squad creates a layered offense:
