Geto Kogen is located in Japan's top region for record snow cover every winter. The all-important ‘powder reset’ rate at Geto Kogen is in the top ranking of all Japan!
This was the first mountain of the season with more to come! We had a lot of fun and got a few runs in. However, after lunch our fun ended when it started to snow and then heavy rain.
A day pass will set you back ¥4900 or around $45.00. Definitely worth the price especially when you go during January when there is a lot of snow.
There are three types of accommodation by the base of the resort that range from a skiers bed similar to the capsules to actual rooms.
They also have an onsen for after you board where you can go to soak and relax after boarding, something that you should check out if you are headed here.
