G'day!
Kakadu National Park for a second time round!
Its the start of the dry season here in The Northern Territory, But don't let that fool you, there is a lot of water still around & that means one thing, A lot of things are still closed!
Because of the water levels being so high, waterfalls & rivers flowing that hard & the increased possibility of crocodile movement, a lot of Kakadu national park was still closed,
Us being naïve & underestimating the wet season here in the NT we automatically assumed, Its the dry, Everything will be open! let this be a lesson & don't let this happen to you! you would hate to book a family holiday flying out of Melbourne or somewhere to realise attractions you wish to visit are only running at half capacity, & trust me this happens a lot to both national & international travellers.
Time of travel was April.
Anyway we still had a incredibly great but shortened trip! & we can not wait to return once again.
