I rode this circuit including the road section about twenty years ago and always meant to do it again. Inspired by a blog I'd read Rambo and I decided to split the route in two and make it into a bikepacking trip. We also opted to use the train from Taynuilt to Tyndrum to avoid doing the road section. It's a great ride and well worth doing.
