I've seen several videos doing something similar i'm doing right now. But, by the date of this video, no one had included Bomberman '08 in the jam, comparing just Bomberman '94 and Mega Bomberman instead.
Most notable differences you're going to see are the graphics for each version, the absence of Battle Mode and addition of a Save file system in Bomberman '08, and the load times.
(I turned off Mega Bomberman's music accidentaly, so, there's just the sound effects from it)
