An unexpected stretch of warm weather was approaching southern Ontario and I decided to take the opportunity to head off on another canoe trip. While deciding on a place to go, a friend who is an outfitter suggested a favourite route with gorgeous lakes. Being a new location and a place I wasn't familiar with, I jumped at the opportunity. I also decided head out without a tent and to sleep under the canoe, like a voyageur. Something I've done many years ago and looked forward to doing again.
