🌿 1 tablespoon white soy sauce
For the Filling:
🐔 80g chicken tenderloin seasoned with 1/2 teaspoon each of sake and soy sauce
🌰 2 ginkgo nuts
🍄 Shiitake mushrooms, fresh or dried (rehydrated)
🌱 A little watercress or mitsuba (frozen or fresh)
Easy Steps:
1, Prep Shiitake: Rehydrate dried shiitake mushrooms in water until soft.
2, Prepare Chicken: Cut chicken into small pieces and marinate.
3, Beat Eggs: Mix eggs gently in a pouring-friendly container.
4, Mix Liquid: Add water and white soy sauce to eggs. Mix gently to avoid foaming.
5, Boil Water: Prepare a pot of boiling water for steaming.
6, Assemble: Place chicken and ginkgo nuts in containers, pour in the egg mixture through a sieve.
7, Steam: Place containers in the pot, cover slightly ajar, and steam for 10 minutes.
8, Add Shiitake: Place shiitake on top and steam for another 5 minutes.
