Joao Cancelo Wins Bundesliga and Premier League Titles in Same Season. Joao Cancelo is arguably the luckiest defender in football at the moment after ending the 2022/23 season, winning two domestic titles.

The Portugal defender started the season with Manchester City, where he made 17 appearances for the Citizens before switching clubs in January when he joined Bayern Munich on loan after a fallout with Pep Guardiola.

With Bayern and Manchester City emerging league champions in England and Germany, Cancelo, who also made 15 appearances for the Bavarians, has ended the 2022/23 campaign with a Bundesliga and English Premier League winners medal.

Manchester City are keen to sell Joao Cancelo in the summer as manager Pep Guardiola does not want him in his squad after both parties fell out earlier this season, Football 365 reports.
