Hello, I'm Alex from Ani Best Recaps, and I'd love to tell you a story.

Imagine walking away from being the Demon King's right-hand man just to gamble on a simple human life and try to win over the girl of your dreams. In today's video, our former general struggles to keep his cover while his old subordinates pop up out of nowhere to stir up massive trouble in town. On top of managing demons who suddenly have a passion for being housemaids, the protagonist has to handle the world's most annoying hero and a secret rival who just entered the race for the priestess's heart. It turns out that living as a normal human is way more stressful than leading an army of monsters and I love how this story shows that even a god-tier demon can't escape the drama of a high school romance.

And that's where the episode ends, and I must confess that this second episode really ramped up the comedy, especially with that final plot twist of Raven revealing himself as a heavyweight rival for our priestess's heart. The guy is a good person, but our protagonist better watch out, because besides having to put up with the inconvenient hero Yuga, he has now given a little push exactly to the one who could steal his place at the mansion.
