While waiting on the cabinet refinish to cure on this beautiful Crosley receiver, model 5V1 from 1934, I took time to validate the health of the 1st and 2nd I.F. Transformers and found an issue (an open winding) w/ the 1st I.F. Transformer that will need to repaired.
In the past video, I tried to make the necessary repair(s), but was unsuccessful as the magnet wire for the coil was broken at the core (most inner) of the winding.
