CORRECTION: I included oak leaves in this build (& the original edit of this video) and found out later they are actually toxic (&edited out the clips of me putting them in). My quick Google search told me that oak wood is safe for hamsters, but I didn't do further research to learn that the leaves are not. Apologies!
The dimensions of this DIY cage are 40x40in, or 1600 square inches :}
