Here it is, the first full-speed run of my 1981 Allertor / Prototype P-10.
(I don't think my camera's microphone really enjoyed it.)
Originally purchased from a guy in Lushton back on September 3rd, 2018... He had a lot of 32 P-10s and P-15s, all of which were from the Fort Calhoun Nuclear Plant; I was one of the few, if only, to buy one of the sirens he had for sale. Four years later, and I finally got it going...
Motor Specifications:
Doerr 254UY, 10-HP, 240VAC, 3400 RPM single-phase motor, coupled to a Grove-Gear Flexaline 60:1 reducer.
Motor starter came off a 1986 A.C.A. P-15, and was completely overhauled with new, NOS, or good-used parts. Wiring was redone by Hesselgesser Electric Motor in Grand Island.

(125 - Allertor, 6 - June, 81 - 1981, 433 - 433rd made in 1981)
