This is a report on the teppanyaki lunch we had at GENJYU, the Japanese restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton, Fukuoka. The GENJYU restaurant is located on the 18th floor of the hotel and offers a spectacular view of Fukuoka City from the teppanyaki counter. Lunch is priced at $70 (10,000 yen) and includes an appetizer, grilled seafood, salad, Japanese beef, vegetables, rice, and dessert. The teppanyaki wagyu beef served in the most luxurious setting was absolutely delicious.
The Ritz-Carlton, Fukuoka is the first luxury hotel in the Kyushu region of Japan and opened in June 2023.
