It's my last year in my 30's and what better way to celebrate my birthday than a surf session at Tamarindo Beach! I didn't have much expectations for this beach but this place easily became one of my favorite spots during our Costa Rica trip! If you would like to practice or learn how to surf, this is THE best place to do so! Sandy bottom, gentle consistent waves, it's so much fun! We rented our board from Langosta Beach Club and it cost us about $10/hour for the surfboard rental.
Playa Tamarindo also has a bunch of restaurants and shops near the shore. It's a great place to spend the day! Highly recommend!
