Here are five ways to learn English quickly from an English teacher. POV.

Number one is make English-speaking friends. This is the key because English will be fun. If you're just like looking at the textbook, taking English classes all the time, but you don't actually have English- speakaking friends to practice with, you're not going to do that well. It's better to have an English-speaking boyfriend, girlfriend. They don't even need to be a native English speaker. But for example, if you're from Korea, make a friend from China or Japan, somewhere like that, where they also the only language that you share in common is English.

The second way to learn English quickly is extensive reading. So by this I mean read something that's slightly at your slightly below your level or just at your level, but read for fun. It could be a novel. It could be like maybe a kids book, a teen novel, could be a magazine, newspaper, whatever you're interested in. Just read a lot.

The third thing to learn English quickly is to focus on vocabulary. You can study all the grammar you want and know all the grammatical structures, but if you don't know vocabulary, you won't actually be able to communicate in English well. So, I recommend using your phone, download one of the flashcard apps or the vocabulary apps and practice every day, just in a few minutes when you're on the bus or the subway or just uh on your lunch break, something like that.

The fourth way to learn English quickly is to watch TV or movies without the subtitles. This is the key. Subtitles can kind of make you be a little bit lazy if you just read the subtitles in your own language, but don't actually focus on the English. So, I recommend finding something where they speak slowly enough and clearly enough that you can just watch it without subtitles. This will help you pick up slang, idioms, stuff like that.

And the last way to learn English quickly is immersion. So, go study abroad in Canada or England or Australia for a year, but don't spend all your time hanging out with friends from your own country. That is the worst way to learn English. The best way is to make friends from other places.
