The album “My Heart” is a Qalby Studios collaboration created between talented artists Essam from South Seattle US and Muslim Belal from South London UK. They first crossed paths in Malaysia in 2015 at an Ilm Arts event and since then they have worked together releasing a number of impactful faith based and vocals only songs that resonate deeply with their communities and worldwide audiences. Their creative work brings together faith, poetry, song, rhythm, art and the outcome is phenomenal.
Essam and Muslim Belal poured their hearts into this album, sharing their personal stories, vulnerabilities and experiences with the intention to inspire those who listen to reflect and to have a closer connection to Allah.

These artists dive into their struggles, hopes, their journey to Islam, life lessons, gems and reminders sharing what it means to be a muslim. One thing is undeniable : their unwavering faith and submission to Allah.

A muslim is someone who submits completely to Allah and the way of Our Messenger, Muhammad, may peace and blessings be upon him. The chorus serves as an anthem that beautifully sums up the true meaning of “Muslim” resonating deeply with every believer.
