Architecturally similar to Gurdwara Beer Sahib, this site was originally constructed to honor the brave Sikh martyrs (Shaheeds) of the 1921 movement. It stood as a symbol of sacrifice and devotion.
However, the winds of change during the Partition of 1947 altered its destiny. For a decade after the partition, this sacred Sikh site was converted and used as a mosque, where Namaz was offered for 10 years.
