This Jeep has quite a story, and, there will be a significant amount of reading to do, please be sure to read through everything. I am very transparent.

1998 Jeep Wrangler Sport. 4.0, 5 speed, 231, D30/D44, Full doors, Hardtop, AM/FM radio, No Cruise, No AC, Clean Title. (a very base Sport)

Dash shows 248 I think, motor was replaced at about 220k with a used 120k motor. New clutch installed at this time.

Jeep runs great, drives surprisingly well for what it is. Our son drives this roughly 60 miles a day. Engine has great oil pressure, no check engine lights, shifts great.

My good friend owned this Jeep in Colorado, and he worked for Northridge4x4 (which explains the significant modifications). He moved to TN, then needed to sell it. We bought it on spring break of 24' and brought it home. I pulled numerous aftermarket parts off it to put on another Jeep, then I sold the Jeep to a buddy. Said buddy did some work/modifications to it, then my Son bought it back last fall. We've then continued to work on it, change things, fix things, etc. And here we are. With the amount of driving my son is doing, he's deciding to get a car.

You will find the only rust to speak of is in the center body mount on each side. I challenge you to find any rust anywhere else. The frame is clean, the body is clean! The paint though, leaves a lot to be desired - its fair. The paint is faded, there are scratches, scuffs, dents, and holes left over from old body armor.

The interior is nice. The front seats are out of an 06', and the drivers seat has damage. A pair of seat covers would spruce things up!

It might be cliche, but I would get in and drive this Jeep anywhere. I am not saying Jeeps are comfortable, but, this Jeep is dependable and trustworthy, and will go where it's pointed.
