The last day of a 1500 mile ride to Crater Lake, OR, about 10 of us chose to take the scenic and long 400 mile way home knowing we'd be riding in the dark at some point. In hindsight it was a good decision as we enjoyed the Avenue of the Giants, Glass Beach, and many fantastic roads. CA-128 was just one.
Here we ride the last 20 miles of -CA-128 approaching Cloverdale from the Booneville. Lots of high speed sweeper stuff and some tighter twisty parts that I enoy more.
The group got spread out due to traffic and individual tolerance for risk. Here Nitin is on his 2024 Ducati 950 SP Hypermotard and I am on my trusty Charo a 1990 Honda CB-1 (CB400F) She reached 40k miles on this trip!
