ABOUT DR ANTHONY MANNING

Dr Anthony Manning is Director & Dean for Global & Lifelong Learning at the University of Kent. Through his role at Kent, Anthony is responsible for the development, implementation and review of international activity and Lifelong Learning, including Kent’s new activity in the field of online learning. Anthony is a Principal Fellow of AdvanceHE’s Higher Education Academy and his academic

background and publications are in the fields of Pathways to Higher Education, Academic Skills and English for Academic Purposes. Anthony has lived in five countries while undertaking his former positions in Higher and Secondary Education and he has led educational development and promotional visits to more than 50 countries. Anthony has worked as an External Examiner for over ten institutions in the UK and overseas. He is also a trustee for the British Accreditation Council.
