The Noosa Everglades are one of only two Everglades systems in the world. Known as the 'River of Mirrors' for the remarkable reflections of the world in ripples that can be seen on the water. As we paddled on our canoes we couldn't look away from irresistible masterpiece nature was painting right there before our eyes. Peaceful waters free of any large predators and well protected from the noise of humans, the Narrows of Noosa River offer a haven for 40% of Australian bird species. Understandably a biodiversity hotspot as we found ourselves overindulged in perfect moments, the weather was spectacular and the conditions made it not too challenging to make the journey across Lake Cootharaba and the night show was dazzling as the stars danced in the reflections.
Would highly recommend you go explore this place if you ever get the chance to.
