Some people don't choose the speedrun life. The speedrunning life chooses them. That was the case with Youtuber and streamer Krinios who was playing Portal for the first time when 2 speedrunners came into his chat and helped him through the game. After taking about 3 hours to beat it his first time through, he cut his time after to JUST 23 MINUTES!!!

This time around I'm reacting to "How I Accidentally Became a Portal Speedrunner" - aka Krinios' journey to cut his time by 1/6th in the span of a few days. It's everything I love about speedrunning, a positive community giving someone the help they need to overcome something that's got them stuck.
