Tutorial: Adding Easy & FREE Effects to Dance Videos

Well, 2020 has certainly been a very different year for those of us in the live entertainment industry, hasn't it!?
A lot of what we've had to do this year has been online and/or in video format and that's NOT what we signed up for! Dance teachers/makers like myself are use to working in the live theatre space, but Covid-19 and the necessary restrictions that came with it have forced us to change the way we perform. So i've made this video to help out my collegues at That Dance Place, one of the dance studios I work for here in Australia. But I'm also hoping it will help other creators who have needed to move into the film/digital space.
This video mostly focusses on how to find visual effects for free from YouTube creators and add them to your dance videos. I've also added some extra info relating to cropping footage so the video frame looks more appealing (i.e. getting rid of extra stuff you might not have realised was in the edges of your frame) and adding overlays/frames.
DISCLAIMER: I am by NO MEANS an expert or even officially trained in video editing! So please don't take any of my advice as gospel. It's just the way I've figured out how to do things in my 2-3 years of creating & editing videos.
Also, I've only really used Filmora editing software so if your software is different this may not be too helpful. But my understanding is that most video editing software operates in similar ways, so these skills should hopefully be transferable.
