How I Made a Custom Pivoting Steady Rest for Tripod - DIY Night Hunting Equipment

In this video, I’m making a homemade shooting steady rest to add to my night hunting setup and equipment. This steady rest will allow the rifle to swivel 360 degrees, tilt right to left, and tilt up and down. I hope you can learn something from this video and apply it to your own DIY hunting gadgets!

I'm just an ol' southern boy who loves being outside and the challenge of designing and building things. I grew up watching TV shows like "The A-Team" and "Macgyver", and was fascinated to see how they made things from what they had available. Whether I'm hunting, fishing, building or repairing a deer stand, working on my land, or making some kind of interesting gadget, if I'm outside or in my shop, I'm happy. I draw inspiration from YouTube videos of people doing these same sort of things, and that's why I decided to start this channel. I want to document my projects for everyone to enjoy, and maybe teach them something along the way. I hope my videos can give a little creative spark to someone and help them complete their own DIY projects!
